Industrial Production Index for September 2024
The industrial production index in September was estimated to increase by 10.8% over the same period last year. In which, the mining industry decreased by 7.3% over the same period last year; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 13.1%; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 6.4% and the water supply and waste and wastewater treatment industry increased by 15.2%. In general, in August 2024, the consumer price index (CPI) was stable compared to the previous month. Compared to December 2023, August CPI increased by 1.89% and compared to the same period last year increased by 3.45%. On average, in the eight months of 2024, CPI increased by 4.04% over the same period last year; core inflation increased by 2.71%. (06/09/2024)
