In 2023, the world economy continues to face many difficulties and challenges. Strategic competition between powerful countries is becoming more intense and comprehensive, increasing geopolitical tensions; The Russia-Ukraine conflict is complicated, and fighting in the Middle East has negatively impacted the world economic recovery process after the Covid-19 epidemic.
As of January 15, 2024, the whole country had planted 1,821.4 thousand hectares of spring rice, equal to 96.9% of the same period last year. Of which, northern localities reached 63.4 thousand hectares, equal to 66.6% due to the 2024 crop calendar being later than 2023; Southern localities reached 1,757.9 thousand hectares, equal to 98.5%
