The 2007 Establishment Census was conducted throughout the country on July 1st 2007 in accordance with the Decision No 187/2006/QD-TTg, dated 15th of August 2006 by the Prime Minister.
The Census covered all establishments in business sector and non- profit sector. However the Census excluded agricultural co-operative, individual establishment of agriculture, forestry and fishery (which were covered by the Rural, Agriculture and Fishery Census 2006), individual establishments without resident locations, and foreign missions and embassy, international organizations are operating in Vietnam.
